Meet The Mercurial. I named it Mercurial since the pendant I used for this piece was made late last year, being so fickle minded if I would use it for a necklace, a ring or something else. Since I was eager of using my ribbons, I got 3 colors made it into a braid I know instantly what would be the match for it, meaning the pendant. I think purple, pink, green and blue are my favorite color to combine. I remember making an earring with this colors too and it is in the first collection.
The pendant is made up of a vintage glass bead from my grand mother’s collection and with several purple glass and art beads, I also included a purple Amethyst crazy cut bead and a blue rice beads. I used a toggle clasp for the lock. It has length of 18 inches. It places the pendant right after the collar-bone.
Can you recognize the background I used?
I think the braided fibre looks great, and makes a lovely contrast to the wired and beaded pendant. Love it, and the egg-carton background! =D
Thanks for your lovely comment. I can agree with you. Yes! You are correct it is an egg-carton.
